Mixed Media

My Mixed Media done with help of acrylic colors, Nail polish and other tools such as sponge and Palette Knife. Nail polish and Acrylics were used in bucket full of water and sheets were dipped in the water which resulted in designs (created in the water) being replicated on the sheets.

Inside-Out
I wanted to show the inside-out of a Matchbox. Since the matchsticks are made out of wood, I used wood as my background. The Matchboxes are arranged in a way and the matchsticks are turning from natural to colorful sticks.

My Topic
Corruption in India

I choose this topic because Corruption in India is growing day by day. I myself face corruption in daily life. For example when i want to go home from College the Auto Rickshaw Driver asks 20-30 bucks extra in addition to the meter's reading. I am fed up of this thing that's why i choose this topic. My Tagline for this concept is

"Corruption In Every Step"

Since i am facing corruption in my daily life it always reminded me of the Steps of the Stairs so this is how i decided my tagline.

My research on Corruption

Corruption is growing day by day in India. From the past decades there are many scams that have taken place. The most recent among them is the Coal Allocation Scam. In this scam, the government gave coal to companies at cheaper rate rather then giving it a at a standard price. This caused a big loss to the government.

My experimentation photos regarding this scam

As corruption is growing day by day, the scams are also increasing. Here's a list of top scams that have taken place in India till now:

  •  Indian Coal Allocation Scam
  •  2G Spectrum Scam
  •  Commonwealth Games Scam
  •  Telgi Scam
  •  Adarsh Society Scam
  •  The IPL scam
  •  Harshad Mehta scam
  •  Satyam Scam
